The Isle of Man is a UK Crown Dependency located in the heart of the British Isles. The Island has a rich history dating back to before 6500 BC and has its own democratically elected legislature called Tynwald, which is the world’s longest running parliament. Tynwald independently establishes its own laws, social policies and sets its own tax rates.

The Island’s principal regulator is the Isle of Man Financial Services Authority (IOMFSA), they aim to enhance and maintain international confidence in the Island’s finance sector and deter financial crime. The regulator is highly respected worldwide and liaises closely with local business and international colleagues to safeguard the interests of international investors and clients.
Class Leading Services and Compliance Standards
The Isle of Man is recognised and respected as an International Finance Centre.
One of several reasons why the Isle of Man has earned its reputation is by obtaining “White List” status in 2009 from the Organisation of Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). More recently, the OECD rewarded the island with its highest compliance rating for its international exchange of tax information, a level only achieved by 21 jurisdictions globally. The island’s financial industry has received many international plaudits including Best Financial Centre on a number of occasions.
